This is the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I am a former small-town girl who moved to NYC to chase an advertising career. I did really well at fulfilling that dream. I got a job at the New York Post for a few years, then a job at an advertising agency. But the most important thing that happened is that I found a new home. I fit in so much better in New York City than I ever fit in my small town. All of a sudden, I didn't feel judged or trapped, I felt happy and free. Along the way, I also met my future husband. Since he was New Jersey born and raised, we ended up making our way back to New Jersey and as of September 2013, I am a stay-at-home mom to a very rambunctious two-year-old son. This blog is going to document this time in my life, and also serve as ongoing motivation to create and sustain a frugal lifestyle. I want to do more with less, and enjoy a simple lifestyle. This blog will cover the aspects of my life that help fulfill that aspiration: frugal living, gardening and life as a SAHM.
